The only additional context menu item I've noticed in Windows Explorer since installing EMC8 is for .iso files, 'Burn with disk copier'

Generally, context menu items are subkeys in the registry at places such as

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shell, or Shellex

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell

You could search HKCR for the text displayed in the context menu (if the text includes an underlined letter as keyboard shortcut, include & in the search string before the underlined letter). If you find it, export the key to a .reg file as backup, then delete it in regedit, see if it removes the context menu item you don't want. In case of error, double click on the saved backup to merge the key back into the registry.
