reading disk



I burned files and pictures to a dvd with drag to disk in Vista. Now it cannot read the disk anymore telling me I have a blank disk. I boot int xp and have no problem reading the disk. I can also read it under ubuntu. Under xp I use the same dvd drive as in vista so it is not the drive I think.

Any answes appreciated.

Packet writing is the least reliable form of burning ever devised… (although one guru here will tell you it's just peachy, it is you’re data at risk, not his…)


What you are seeing is the reason why the vast majority of us recommend not using it!


You would have to take this up with MS…
