Capture video program won't load

tampachicken

Question

I have creator 10 version with the Dazzle DVC 100 capture device..I have it hooked up to my TV but that is not the problem.

I can't get the "capture video" program to load...I get a error message and microsoft says there is a problem with my license and my IP address..

I have updated ..video cards..microsoft updates..and I still get the message and the program does not open.. I even tried to download updates from roxio and it cuts off about 1/2 way through the download with the same message about my license and IP address...

Anyone have a clue?

I know this is a late answer but I don't think that the program is the problem. It sound like one of MS updates screwed up your computer. I know that a recent one screws up IE 6 and IE 7 so that they act as if there was no connection to the internet. I haven't heard of it giving those error messages. You might want to see if you can restore your computer to an earlier time to get rid of those updates and then re-install EMC 10.

It may be MS checking about if you have a valid license for your XP/Vista.
