iMovie 08 Projects not supported?

I just finished 2 weeks of work on iMovie 08.

I bought Toast.

I try to import these projects and Toast says "unsupported format"

I CAN however import OLD iMovie HD projects and various other formats.

What am I missing? I bought this so I could use the new Toast Platinum AND my new iMovie 08.

I need to ship these DVD's out for Xmas and now I'm stuck, unless I give up on Toast and use iDVD.

Any help for this frustration, I sure would appreciate it.

Oops, Toast Titanium not, Platinum.

Still desperate for help and I've posted to the Apple Forum and the Video Help forum as well.

So far, over 40 people have viewed the issue and there have not been any solution yet. I hope this can be worked out, I'd sure like to use the new Toast 8.

Select your project in iMovie 8 and choose Export using Quicktime in the Share window and then Movie to DV Stream as the export setting. Add that to the Toast video window. iMovie 8 project files are unlike the iMovie HD packages and so they can not be transferred directly into Toast.
