Upon checking to make sure i had all codecs installed and working properly, I found they indeed were working properly! Maybe you should change your status from guru to something else! If thats the only thing you can think of that will stop roxio from reading the avi formatted movies i have, then your input here isnt needed! However, if you happen to find another reason for this problem im having, then by all means let me know!! Being sarcastic doesn't make you smart, or even appear to be!! For the one that suggested gspot, thank you, according to gspot i have all needed codecs installed and working correctly!!!

What kind of AVI files are they? DivX? Where did you get them? If they are someting you downloaded, they may be DRM protected. I don't work with TiVo but I understand that some of those are DRM protected also.

No one on this site will (should not) give you information on breaking the protection.

Please remember that you have a "teaser," free, but limited version of the software and most users here do not know what capability you have in the version. That's why you may get some questions that, to you, seem trivial. Now calm down.

Im not sure if this is the right place for this or not, so forgive me if it is! Im trying to figure out why my roxio will not let me burn the movies i have that are in avi format! If anyone has any ideas or a solution i would greatly appreciate the help!

You forgot to give any information on what you did to try to burn it to disc.

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought it wasn't working for you.

But since you have everything, it must be…

Do the .avi files play in Windows Media Player? If not, they are probably corrupt. Where did they originate?
