mgmazzei
Good friends, Can Toast 8 back up my Pro Tools files. That would be the session and all the files created by PT. If so would I use the "file" program in toast 8???? I would like to save my sessions on disc. Could I use a DVD disc? more room..... Many Thanks mgmazzei
johnnysteed
Yes, you should use data mode. I would recommend either Mac & PC or DVD, as well. As far as splitting up large Pro Tools sessions into CD/DVD sized chunks, I use Folder Splitter. I have no association with these guys, but it seems to be a popular request around here. tsantee
Use the Data window for backups of files and folders. You can use Mac only or Mac & PC with either CD or DVD media.
