Windows Vista Success

LHT

Question

Using Windows Vista Home Premium and DVDit Pro HD, I have been able to import raw HD video from my Sony HDR-HC5 video cam and burn it directly to a BD-RE disk successfully. Results are very good. I have a Sony BD-300 player that I just bought and had to upgrade firmware in order to read BD-RE and BD-R. That also works just fine.

What I need now is an ability to burn an edited file with titles, transitions, pictures, music, etc. that I do in Pinnacle Studio 11 Ultimate. That, I have not yet been able to do, even using the disk image iso file to burn later. And, as others have indicated, when I do try to burn such an edited file, I am getting the end of file error. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Honestly, if you want quality and compatibility, don't use Pinnacle for anything. It's just too commercial. The only good commercial stuff I've seen is from ADS, but your best option is to stay away from commercial goods.

I'm surprised you would use such a cheap software for editing and then use DVDit Pro HD for authoring. It's like putting Turtlewax on a Ferrari.
