certificate file

Question

I've just tried yet again to reinstall EMC10 and am getting the following errro message ~The certificate file is missing or corrupted. Please reinstall it~

Does that mean I have to reinstall EMC again or does this file come from somwhere else, I'm at a complete loss, I may have deleted it by accident when deleting otherRoxia files

Many thanks for any help.

You'll need to do a clean install and try again.

I have XP Pro Version 2002 Service Pack 3

I did a clean install 3 times.

When I try to start Roxio I get the following error window:

The certificate file is missing or has been corrupted. Please re-install it.

Don't know what else to do.

In Vista, go to control panel and turn off user account control - that is probably why you are being blocked from app data
