AtMyLimit
I followed instructions to wipe drive of all burner programs (old Roxio and Sonic), and did a "Clean" install as per instructions. I then installed a patch, as advised. That solved my initial series of error messages ("buffer overrun"). Now, I'm still episodically getting other errors when first boot up the computer. (Doesn't happen every time). "Runtime Error. R6025 - pure virtual functional call". I ran 'msconfig' and all of the required items (as advised on RoxAnne), are already correctly check-marked. Now what? Yours truly, A customer about to look elsewhere.

You could try going to msconfig, and unchecking all Roxio items in the Startup tab, then reboot.
