Double layer DVD

Hi,

I'm a new user with EMC10 and am having an issue burning double layer disks. I start VideoWave, load a 7GB. movie, edit and click DVD burn button. This opens MyDVD. I click Disc size to "8.5GB", quality "Fit to disc" and put a double layer disk in my double layer drive. MyDVD burns the disk ok but only uses 4GB of disk space resulting in a poor quaity moive. Can any one help? What am I doing wrong?

I do not use Fit to Disc but instead, use Best Quality, then burn to an image file (ISO) instead of Direct to Disc. I then use Video Copy and Convert to burn to disc which will fit to disc at best quality. I've used this same process in v9 many, many times and in 10 about 5 or 6 times with much luck.

If your movie is in .vob format then you could try Disk Copier but be sure to select DVD DL and then it should fit without compression.

I was hoping it was just a setting or something so I would not need so many steps.
