Using Lightscribe to burn an image

Bob G2

Question

I am trying to use lightscribe within the Label Creator. I have talked to the chat people and they were absolutely no help. I used the paid support and they had me uninstall the lightscribe driver using the uninstall tool from the lightscribe web site. I ran this 3 times as they had requested and then I reinstalled the lightscribe driver. This did nothing to cure the issue.

When I am in the label creator I pick lightscribe as the style and i pick the second disc template which has a small circle with the words title at the top and data at the bottom. I highlight the boxes with the text in them and hit the delete key on my keyboard. This only takes out the text but not the circle. I then Pick edit background, check use the following image as background, click Browse to find the image and then hit OK and that inserts the picture. The Problem is the only part of the picture that will print in lightscribe disc is the part of the picture that is in the little circle where the text used to be. I have tried to expand the small circle with no luck.

I am using a Pentium D, 3.20, 2 Gig of Ram, xp Pro, with Service pack 2, and all patches up to date.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am trying to get this done for Christmas.

I would include a screenshot to clarify things but I don't know how to do it in this forum. I check the help screens but they say the administrator has to give me the rights to upload an image.

Don't use any LightScribe template, in the software. Use any of the others, make your label, then burn. It should work out, that way. It did for me, the one time I tried it.
