Music Tracks in Videowave

Guest RCD74

Question

Hi - I am just wondering out of desperation, if it is possible to add an additional music track in the timeline view of Videowave (much like you can with text, overlays, etc.) b/c I find that when transitioning from one song to another, I can't get my music to be right next to each other and at times there is a small (maybe 1 second) moment of silence between songs. Sometimes I am somewhat successful, yet I am not sure what I am doing wrong or right!! I would love to be able to overlap the music slightly. I am guessing it isn't possible since there isn't an option to add a music track?? Thanks for any help or suggestions!

Use one of the other audio tracks, they all function the same way even though they may have different names. There are a total of 3 audio tracks available. You can put one audio clip on one track and then put another audio clip on another track, even slightly overlapping them

In EMC 10, if you use the right option you can add as many audio files as you want and all on the same "Music" track and have them all end to end. Then you can right click on each audio track and edit it and use the option to "Fade In" or Fade Out" each of the tracks (up to a max. of 10 seconds.

The only caveot to this is usually the audio file time length is longer than the total time for all of the photos you have so when you add multiple audio files, make sure that the total times for the photos are at least as long as the times for your audio files. Either that or have the audio file shorter than the time for that specific audio file and fade it out at some point.

Just a suggestion for adding audio files

Thanks for all your replies. I don't have EMC10, but plan to get it soon. As for the audio tracks, I see what you mean about adding 3 more tracks. Thanks. I didn't realize that those categories all came under audio tracks and music could be added to them. Thanks for your help. I wish I had known this information before burning all those dvds I just made!! :glare: Oh well - my fault. I appreciate your help. I learn something new all the time with this program!
