POPCORN 3 & LEOPARD DVD ISSUES

Hello; New To POPCORN 3. Trying to burn DVD COPIES from DVD Video TS folder on my MACBOOK PRO.

All seems ok - use the defaults in POPCORN 3. However, the movie when played in DVD players like OPPO, SONY; skips then freezes into the movie. Happened with LIVE FREE - DIE HARD, BORNE SUPREMACY, NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM and NATIONAL TREASURE. Can't seem to get a clean copy.

Any suggestions?

Burn Speed?

Media?

Amount of Compression?

 

Could make a disc image and then burn that.

 

I have another suggestion but it is another app for compression so I won't here.

Hello - THanks for offering to help. I tried using MEMOREX; MAXELL and SONY single layer and Dual Layer blank DVDs. I also use the BEST SPEED when burning and not sure of COMPRESSION - other than whatever the default is. Not sure how to make a DISC image...

HI I see how to create a DISK IMAGE - will try and once it's on HARD DRIVE - how do I then create a DVD?

I burn Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim -R SL at 8x and use nothing but Verbatim +R DL at 4x.

I tried doing the DISK IMAGE then COPY to DVD DL and it failed on the VERIFICATION - bad sector.

 

Hummmm - I'll try VERBATIM...

 

Not sure why I am having issues....
