Beerman
Thanks for your help. I did burn a DVD with a slideshow that was from a different program. Then I went out a bought this one and this program doesn't seem to want to burn any DVD's. Our computer is a notebook Acer Aspire 5100.IIs that what you mean by computer specs) What is Direct X? How do you burn to an image file? Then burn to disc? Sorry for being so computer incompetant. Why would a slideshow from another program just burn and this program won't? Thanks Beerman for all your help. You can get the latest DirectX here To burn to an image file (ISO) remove the check at 'Burn to Disc' and put a check in the 'Save Image File' box. Browse to where you want to save the ISO file to and click burn. When complete (and if there are no errors) you simply go to where you saved the file above (it will have a .iso extension) and double click the file and the Roxio program should start which will then allow you to burn to disc. Sorry for all the trouble beerman. I did download that DirectX, I am hoping I did that correctly. Holy Crap why can't I get this?????

Did you go to where you saved the ISO file and try to burn it to disc? It sounds like it was successful. You might want to view the ISO file before burning to disc or try burning to an RW disc if you have one so that you don't waste a good disc. Are you saying that double clicking the file opensup DVD Express? Try using Video Copy and Convert, add the file image you made then let it burn to disc. Beerman
I'm going to assume that the ISO was burned correctly and that Roxio is not playing nice with your burner and try a different approach. Some has similar problems and have had good luck with Imburn Try that free program and see if you can burn your ISO to disc. For some help in burning an ISO with Imgburn, see this forum tutorial
gi7omy
If it's not showing in control panel, system, hardware you may have to do a repair on the upper/lower filters Check here and run the px engine http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?showtopic=4193
Beerman
In an earlier post, I gave you the wrong link for the tutorial to burn your ISO to disc. That one was for DL discs. Take a look here for help in burning an image file to disc.
