Toast 8 update

This will probably be a minor problem to you all but its driving me nuts. After installing Toast Titanium 8 on my I-Mac and registering same I received a notice that an update was available. I checked the "about toast" and confirmed that my version was Toast 8 and proceeded to download the update. Clicking on the dmg file produced the original "drag the toast folder to the application folder". Wen I did that a notice popped up that said I was about to replace a newer version with an older one, clearly not what I had in mind.

So- I still show Toast 8 as the installed version. I still get the notice that and update is available when I open the Toast application. And, as far as I can tell I have not been able to install the update! Help! Cinta

Ignore the message that you are replacing a newer version with an older one. I forget the Roxio's explanation of this glitch, but the newer one is the download regardless what the Finder reports when you do the update.

tasntee a million thanks! It worked lake a charm. How come Roxio didn't include this info with the update?
