VideoCD and SuperVideoCD with Toast 8.0.3

Question

I'm having problems with creating VideoCD's using Toast 8.0.3.

I'll try to explain:

With Toast 8.0.0. I can create VCD's and SVCD's from .avi files without any problems. I can edit the .avi file in Toast and use the playback to watch it. And then burn it onto a cd to watch it on my dvd player.

Since upgrading to 8.0.1., 8.0.2. and 8.0.3. everything is black. I can't watch the .avi file anymore in Toast, so due to this, I can't edit it and if I continue to use Toast to burn the .avi file on a CD all I see is a black screen. No sound, no picture. Toast is encoding the file but all I can see is a black screen when I put the cd in my dvd player.

So I went back to Toast 8.0.0 and it worked again. I think it has something to do with the Divx file within Toast.

What have I done so far?

-I've deleted everything about Toast/Roxio

-Reinstalled Toast 8.0.3.

Anyone has the same problem of maybe a solution?

I was thinking of putting the Divx file within Toast 8.0.0 into Toast 8.0.3. Or is Roxio aware of this problem?
