I use Windows Movie Maker to capture .wmv files. I then use EMC10 MyDVD to add chapters and burn to DVD. I was able to burn about 3 or 4 successfully but now am getting "not enough space" errors. I had these errors previously and was able to fix it by deleting temp files, cleaning the computer, and defragmenting it. Those steps are not working now.
I searched my computer for large files I could get rid of and I found 3 files that are over 500MB each that are residing in my Roxio folders:
aproxy_solorio 1995 april-july.wmv.wav
aproxy_solorio dec 1996 - may 1997.wmv.wav
aproxy_solorio_1995.wmv.wav
These names (minus the "aproxy_" and the ".wav") are the names of the captured videos. They look like temp files to me. Does anyone know what they are, why they are accumulating, and if I can delete them?
Every time I create and burn a DVD I move both the .wmv and the .dmsd files off my c: for storage elsewhere so I don't see why I couldn't delete these proxy files to recover some space.
