Is there any way to make a playable dvd with a large amount of video and not loose quality?

Question

I have 11 files in WMV format right now. Ranging from 400mb-783MB. And I was asked if at all possible to make one playable dvd. I assume quality is important too. It was a youth football season.

Is this possible, or is it a crazy idea?

In my dvd, it won't even lessen the quality to put all this one dvd.

Any recomendations?

I also have the other various formats the movies came in, like the dvd video files. I guess the dvd's were taken with a handy dvd cam.

If this is in the wrong area, please direct me where I need to go.

One hour of video at best quality on a standard DVD, a little less than 2 hours at a somewhat reduced quality. If you have a DL burner you can about double that.

After that you get into non-standard formats like DivX where you need a DVD player that supports that format.
