REDWAGON
Boy, when I took a look back at some of the updates I had saved for my Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum program there were several. Driveup5.3.5j.exe Driveup5.3.5p.exe Driveup5.3.5s.exe ecdc_v5.3.5.10_plt_enu.exe I wonder if what update the OP has for his ECDC 5 program would make a difference as to how it interacted with his burner and the firmware it has ? The lastest (probably last) is 4Dec04, and is Driveup5.3.5v.exe The second one you list is Platinum, and there is a different one for Basic. Even if you think you might use the program again, you can ditch the 5.3.5j and 5.3.5p because all of that would be included in 5.3.5s And it is all irrelevant to the original question. REDWAGON
Thanks Lynn for the information about what update is relevant for the Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum. I still have the program but it's been so long ago that I wouldn't have know what each of the updates did anyway. I know I had the ones I listed saved and that's why I mentioned them. As far as being relevant, I still have the question though if the OP has the latest update for his program and especially if the firmware update he has for his drive is the latest might make a difference. Or maybe I just completely missed the idea of his problem. Other than that, sorry I posted Frank............
