During XP boot up, I receive the following message: “Microsoft Visual C+ + Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program: ...es\Common Files\Roxio Shared\9.0\SharedCOM\RoxWatch9.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.” In addition, I use Norton Internet Security, Sunbelt CounterSpy & Sunbelt Personal Firewall. PLEASE HELP! tbrewst Posted December 30, 2007 Report Share Posted December 30, 2007 The easiest way to clear it is to go to Run and type msconfig.When it opens go to the Startup tab and uncheck RoxWatchTray.Reboot your computer and when a box pops up check the box in the bottom left corner and hit ok. This will stop it from running at boot.You don't need it to run for the software to work. After that you might try a repair of the installation.
