Ticked off...completely

I purchased this off the website and downloaded. It won't let me install. I keep getting this error:

C:\Program Files\Roxio\RoxioEMCSuitev10_4737GA50R05.exe is not a valid Win32 application.

 

I apparently should have read all these posts before I even spent the money. All I want to do is burn CD's and DVDS......how hard can that be? Apparently this seems to be a monumental task....

 

I'd appreciate any advice.

I'm on DSL wireless with Qwest, but I'm in Wyoming so EVERYTHING is slow here. It's just that services are so catch-as-catch can....I may have to buy the disk if this doesn't work.

How's that for throwing good money after bad.... LOL

How lage is that file? You may have a corrupt download, and if so, you will have to download it again, along with the Content file, which is about the same size as the program file.

Thanks Grandpabruce....I'm downloading again as we chat. This could be a HUGE undertaking. Took me all day yesterday, so now apparently I will have 2 days invested...whatever I guess...tell me there's light at the end of the tunnel....and it isn't the train....

Are you on dialup? If so, you're more likely to have errors and better off asking a friend with a fast connection to download it for you.
