I have older versions of Toast for the Mac and just upgraded to v.8.0.3. For most of my burning work, I burn from existing TS folders either on my hard drive or from other DVDs. The older versions of Toast allowed me to CHANGE THE NEWLY BURNED DISC NAME to whatever I wanted to call it. The new version of Toast seems to lock in whatever the disc name already is in the TS folder.
Is there any workaround in Toast 8 (when burning from a TS folder) to change the newly burned disc name? Or will there be a patch or future update that will allow this? I saw the when using the DVD video burning option, it does allow you to change the disc name. But I don't think that is really designed or to be used for those burning from a TS folder.
This is one of those instances where I wish I were using the older version of the software, but I'm now on Leopard and need to move forward.
Does any one have any news regarding a workaround or a future update in the works that might fix this?
