perrymc
I have read thru and searched the forums as best I can and cannot figure out if Roxio Drag to Disc can be uninstalled while retaining the rest of Roxio Easy CD and DVD Creator 6. I regularly use Creator Classic and occassionally use Label Creator. I am looking at installing a Slysoft product (Game Jackal Pro). Everything I read says that packet writing software like Drag to Disc must be removed prior to installing their product (to many problems may result if Drag to Disc is not uninstalled). I really want to keep Creator Classic (no plans to upgrade either). If there is a way to delete/remove drag to disc and retain the rest, can someone tell me or point me to the source for how? Thanks to any who can help!
Brendon
No problem, Perry. Just go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs and uninstall it. Everything else should work fine. Regards, Brendon
perrymc
Thanks Brendon, I should have said I looked at that option first, however Drag to Disc is not listed as a separate program in Add/Remove and I want to retain the rest of Roxio Easy Cd and Dvd Creator 6. Any other way to do this???
james_hardin
Thanks Brendon, I should have said I looked at that option first, however Drag to Disc is not listed as a separate program in Add/Remove and I want to retain the rest of Roxio Easy Cd and Dvd Creator 6. Any other way to do this??? D2D only appears as a separate item in V7 and higher. In V6 you still go into Control Panel – Add/Remove Program, choose Roxio and select Modify Installed Version. Scroll the list and choose Not to Install Drag to Disc.

perrymc
Brendon, James Thank you both for the guidance ... wasn't aware add/remove had a 'modify' function so I will certainly give it a try! Thanks again! and happy new year!
james_hardin
I sure hope I am right about that… Don't have V6 loaded anywhere I can check it, but 'I think that is how it worked'
