Videowave 10 rendering

mickevil

Question

An update on Videowave10. Having exhausted my brain I have sat down today and gone through all my programs to see what might be causing the problem with being unable to burn. WELL I RECON I'VE FIXED the CURE, its encoding to hard drive and DVD no problem and fast as well,

problem 1 was Microsoft's online scan I uninstalled this, do a complete uninstal of all Roxio and Sonic products, uninstal directX as well,second problem was in the registry, go to run type "regedit" and search all the registry for anything Named "Sonic" or "Roxio" then delete the entries, be careful though, it will take a long time.

restart your PC then go to microsoft and download the directX link is here;

http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-US/About...irectx10-a.aspx

download the "GET ALL DIRECTX DOWNLOADS" its a big file but contains more I tried the end user one and it didnt work.

Then go to " http://www.free-codecs.com/ and download and install the all iun one codec package and any thing else you need.

Update your Video card driver as well

Run the windows install clean up utility if you have it an remove DirectXserviceinstall then reboot

Re-nstall EMC10 should run OK now

One other thing is on transitions I have now lowered my transitions to 2.50 and the avarage frame rate at 12.50. you can use differen ones make sure the transitions and any text effects dont overlap previous and advance frames, it seems to effect the rendering, make your production a bit at a time and save it then burn it to the hard drive, every time you make a bit more of your production save it and burn it to hard drive again until finished. if something does go wrong you only have a small section to go back over and check out

regards all
