I am starting a 2nd post on this hoping that someone may be able to see it and help me. I installed EMC v9.0 on my computer that has an Internal CD/DVD ROM Burner. Immediately after EMC was installed, my CD ROM Drive was no longer detected by Windows--a yellow question mark is tagged to this device in Device Manager. I upgraded the firmware for the drive and this didn't resolve the problem. I removed the drive and put a different Internal CD ROM Burner (this 2nd one wasn't a DVD Burner) in it, and the same thing happened--Device Manager has it flagged with a yellow question mark.
I uninstalled the device from Device Manager, ran the PXEngine program, restarted my computer, and the problem still persists. I uninstalled EMC v9.0 and the problem still persists. Now, my CD ROM Drive is unusable, so I can't even reinstall EMC if I wanted to.
