ConCaz
Using EMC10. How can I copy some of the MP3 or WAV files I have onto a disk that will play as an audio cd on any cd player? The player in my car won't play digital media. TIA
sknis
Using EMC10. How can I copy some of the MP3 or WAV files I have onto a disk that will play as an audio cd on any cd player? The player in my car won't play digital media. TIA Please remember that mp3 discs are data discs so they can't be played on standard CD players. Some newer ones will play them however. When you use Music Disc Creator, the mp3 files are converted to wav file which can be played on CD player.

ConCaz
??? Audio CDs are indeed DIGITAL. But to answer your question, you can use Music Disc Creator to make a CD that will play in any CD player. Thanks. I guess I was confused by looking at the "files" on an audio cd using file manager and just seeing 15 or so 1K "files". There were no "audio" files on the cd visible to file manager so I thought the actual files that made the music were not digital (I know, it doesn't compute. CD use bits ). If you look at any commercial CD audio files you will see a similar list of "cda" files all 1K in size. Thes files could simply be considered "pointers" to the actaul audio data on the CD.
