Media Creator 10

Timothy Morrison

Question

I NEED HELP!!! I have been having this Blue Screen of DEATH since I installed Media Creator 10. It hasn't been happening everyday but at least once every week and I am getting feed up with it. It starts telling me that memory dumping has happened and it was successful. As soon as I start my computer back up I get this pop up saying windows has Recovered from a Serious Error. I have had no problems with Roxio Creator 10 since and I was wondering if anyone could help me? I don't think I am running any registry cleaner but I would like some help so please try.... If you can? Thank you! :)

I uninstalled EMC10 and was still getting blue screens almost daily. After installing program to view crash log, I believe it is a problem with my linksys wireless adapter card and a Broadcom file. When I uninstalled Roxio, I cleaned everything Sonic, Roxio and Interactual off my system. Now, I have the problem of not being able to play DVDs on the system. Apparently I have no codecs. My Cineplayer will not play. The program opens and sees there is a disc but will not play. So, now I have no clue what to do. I will contact Dell to see if there was software that I deleted that came with my system that I can re-download. What a pain!

To view crash log, you need WinDbg program from Microsoft website. Hope that helps you identify the file causing your blue screens.

This blue screen of death has been a constant problem with me as well. When I look into the Event log, the system stops and I get the blue screen after roxsniffer10, roxliveshare10, roxupnpserver10 are listed. I guess I will uninstall and click on the link above to do a "clean" install. Whatever that means.
