Charlie Sunday Jan. 6, 2008 I spent a long time with Dell tech support and we updated the video card drivers, direct X, and others. I also did the edit /save tricks and it mostly woked. A few black panels still appear in the burned disc but not on the preview. All the photos are jpg's and I edit them in JASC Paint Shop Pro Studio, Dell Edition. I tried to relaunch MyDVD to try a new burn after further editing. When I try to load the project I get the following: Rubtime Error! Program C:\Program Files\Roxio\VideoUI 10\VideoWave10.exe R6025 -pure virtual function call ok I've restarted MYDVD several times and rebooted several times and still have the same problem. It did work last night however, albeit with a few black screens in the burned dvd. Please help. Charlie
asparrow
I recently emailed regarding a series of problems, the most recent of which were the blank panels during preview and in the burned dvd. Charlie Update the drivers for your vido card/chip and switch to software rendering (top menu>Tools>Options> put a dot near software). Try again. If you still have some issues with some images displaying as black panels, there are a couple of things to try. 1) Click on the panel and edit it in the window that opens. No need to make any major changes, just something. close the window; most images will show up. 2) Do a small edit of the original, save it and re-add it to the project. That should clear up any remaining problems. Is the format the same for all the images -jpeg, jpg, png etc. what is it. What image editor are you using for the originals? There was a problem with an earlier version of the product with certain types of jpeg files. Perhaps this will help. .
