milleniumbugs
For some reason this was edited when I posted it before Just upgraded to XP from Me and find that Photo Relay won't work so bought Easy creator 6 plat but find that find that photo suite is rubbish compared with PR as I just want to burn CDs that my elderly relatives can auto play. I have tried to make Cds using photosuite but it wont allow me to add a title to each slide as Photo Relay does that shows as a title for each outside of the image and not overlaid on the actual picture. Does anyone know if I can download or buy a stand alone version of Photo Relay as in easy CD 4 that works with XP or any application that works exactly the same as it, or if someone else has taken it over or cloned it? HELP please as it is a brilliant programme.
gi7omy
I could be wrong - but I think Photorelay (which is a very old program from the days when ECD was Adaptec) is only available now as a Mac application. It sort of disappeared after ECD 4 and never reappeared in that dform again From here: This is the PhotoRelay 1.0.4, which offers many bug fixes and corrections in the localized versions. This replaces PhotoRelay 1.0 or later and requires Toast Deluxe 4.0 or later to be installed.
Brendon
I installed ECDC4 into XP-SP2, and Photo Relay installed okay but all the CD writing functions were disabled due to the CDR4 conflict with XP. I could set up the slideshow and stuff in Photo Relay, but couldn't do anything with it because I couldn't write the disc. Sorry, but you need new software once you've abandoned your old Operating System. Brendon

Brendon Thanks I can get it to run and manually save the show to file then burn the slide show but the auto run doesn't work just hoped that someone knew of a clone that does the same job or one that will add the titles. d_deweywright
Thanks I can get it to run and manually save the show to file then burn the slide show but the auto run doesn't work just hoped that someone knew of a clone that does the same job or one that will add the titles. The auto-run problem could be caused by different things, such as auto-run being disabled for a drive, or the fact that saving it to a drive doesn't create the auto-run.inf file. If the latter is the case, then you can create your own autorun.inf file and add it to the layout in the root directory. Just look at some of the old discs you've created for an example of the format, it's just a plain-text file, editable in Notepad. Hope that helps!
