ezbngrn
I am hoping someone can help me. I am a new mac user, and I am trying to put together a bunch of video clips from "home-made DVDs" that have been finalized. How can I capture various parts of different DVD's in order to make a new DVD? Thanks!
tsantee
You need to use the Media Browser so Toast can extract clips from those DVDs. Toast can either extract entire titles or individual chapters (if present). Choose DVD with the top button of the Media Browser. The button below the top one gives you access to the disc's titles and chapter levels. Select the titles or chapters in the browser and add them to the Video window with DVD video selected as the format. From this point you set up the DVD menu the way you want. For a description of the various options here I suggest reading Toast Help. If you were hoping you could edit those videos then you need to get MPEG Streamclip which allows clipping specific segments from a DVD. I hope you are one who enjoys experimenting because you'll need to practice this process before you it gets to be pretty simple.
