Dazzle not recognized

The Dazzle device is not recognized in the Convert LP program. It only recognizes the built in sound card of my Toshiba laptop running XP. No audio is detected in the program - only a hiss. Any help out there? The Dazzle works in copying old Video 8 movies.

Like Larry said the Dazzle is for video work only,it will not capture just audio.I have it working in both v9 in XP and v10 in Vista.

Got similar problem, trying to convert cassettes. I'm on Vista. Downloaded the right driver. Dazzle appears in my Device Manager. But in Creator 9, only see my internal sound card. No Dazzle 90. There's a disconnect somewhere...yes, I am aware that disconnect is me, most likely. What am I missing?

If you are trying to capture audio only, from a stereo or cassette player for example, then you do not use the Dazzle device for that. You do it thru the Line In input of your Sound Card/Chip. The Dazzle device is for capturing Video (and it's accompanying audio).
