MyDVD burn error

KevinMedia

Question

I'm using MyDVD 5.0.0 that came preloaded in my Media Center PC (HP), just as I have for the past 13 months, tried to burn my latest kids home movie, during "Building Movies" got error message "This is not a valid MPEG file -20400". I checked the source files, they're MPEG files, as per usual. Help???

Since the last time it worked ok, have you added/updated/changed any software/hardware?

Lynn

Added a Cisco VPN program several monts ago,

otherwise nothing

Run GSpot against the file in question, then on one that works and post the results here.

edited to remove the triple posting of the reply to cd, caused by the Invision Board.

If you have downloaded, or allowed auto-update to download, IE 7 or WinPlayer 11, these Vista programs cause serious problems with a lot of software more than a year or so old. The solution - it that is the case - is to roll them back to IE 6 and WinPlayer 10 (or 9).
