Does the Easy CD and DVD Burning Software offer the option to remove the 2-second "Pre-Gap" on songs when burning to a CD to play in a CD player?

Thanks,

JrBK

I've never used the "Red Box" version, but what you want is to write your Audio CDs in Disc-At-Once mode. In earlier versions of the program, there was a radio button to select Track-At-Once or Disc-At-Once. I believe the version you have will have a checkbox next to words that say, "Read Only Disc", or something very similarly. That box may be checked and grayed out so you can't un-check it, in which case you will always be writing in Disc-At-Once mode. If the box is not grayed-out, then make sure you check it, "Read Only Disc" is Roxio's code for Disc-At-Once mode.

There will always be a 2 second pre-gap before the first song, but it is not "played" by CD players. That is part of the Red Book standard. (It's even on pressed, commercial CDs.)

Hope that helps!
