Yes and no…

 

As soon as you made it into a DVD you do not have a slide show but rather it is a movie clip.

 

If you reinstalled Roxio you shouldn't lose anything unless you went out of your way to delete your dmsm files. Default location for them is My Documents.

 

Of course all the files that make up the project would have to be present too.

I had made a slideshow and burned a couple of DVDs from it. I had to reinstall Roxio 9 so I lost the file. Can I take the DVD I made and put the file back on my computer and if so, how?

 

Yes, use Disc Copier in V9 with the DVD as the source. On the Destination save to a Video_ts folder set or ISo Image, to your Hard Drive.

Thank you so much. I have another question and it may or may not deal with Roxio. I keep having an error message pop up that says Firefox could not install this item because of a failure in Chrome registration. I am not trying to install anything when it comes up. It came up when I tried to click on the link to get your reply to my question. Any help would be appreciated.
