DirectCD & EMC 10

Hedly

Question

My computer is running windows xp. I have no plans to upgrade to vista or buy a new computer with vista. I have upgraded to EMC 10 and discover there appears to no longer be the ability to format a CD-RW from Explorer (roxio directCD). Is it possible to get direct CD on its own?

Finally, I find it remarkable that there is an assumption that a useful element (directcd) is no longer needed. Vista may have the formating built in now, but there are a lot of computers happily running with 2000 and xp!

Direct CD hasn't been around for 5 versions of the software. It is called Drag to Disc, and it is not included in Version 10.

Use Creator Classic. No formatting of the CD or DVD needed, and it is a more secure way to back up your data, than using packet writing software.
