Audio CD Fades & Overlaps

I like to have tracks overlap on a cd so there're few gaps if any. Especially when dealing with live songs so it's as seamless as possible.

 

I have tried the "overlap" feature with "no fades" in or out, yet there is still a fade period in between songs no matter the number of seconds i choose.

 

I did this regularly in v5 and recently moved to v10 and would like to continue.

 

Any ideas on keeping the volume level flat/even/level in transitions?

You could also try, in Music Disc Creator 10, Tools, options, uncheck the box 'force fading when overlapping tracks to prevent clipping'.

For the record (no pun intended) it didn't change the existing project but worked fine on a new one.

Assuming that the music doesn't have natural fade in and out, use Sound Editor to create a mix.

 

In Music Disc Creator did you set the overlap fade to a different number? You should be able to get two songs playing at once. Try it with sometime like 15 so you can hear it then back off.
