plug and burn option

jjansen

Question

I have just purchased "easy media creator version 10" i also bought the "dazzle dvc 100" option.

After installing both programs, i wanted to copy some home vhs tapes (vcr) to DVD. I can use the capture program and this works, however i need to first copy this to my PC. I want to avoid this, file size and time issues. I want to go directly from vhs to dvd. The programs "plug & burn" program is suppose to do this. However, the dazzle device is not found when attempting this. Why,,, it will when creating files to the PC, but not directly?

I am using Windows Vista Business,

PC, Dell Latitude D360

Processor: Intel® Core2 Duo CPU T7100 @ 1.80 Ghz

Memory (RAM): 2038 MB

It w ill not work in your set up.

The description of Plug and Burn is " a quick and easy way to capture video from your DV camera directly to a disc. You can capture selected scenes, or the entire video tape." That means it is looking for a Firewire connection. :(

I know that earlier versions allowed you to capture through a A/D converter.
