marlinsinger
Anyone else have problems logging in after the update. I had to go through the forgot password process and reset my password to get in. Was not giving me a password error, just would not log in. Guest videoKid
Yep, I experienced the same issue. Even the "forgot username/password" did not work for me; I did not get an email at all from Roxio. So this is a new account I am using.

I had to go through the forgot password process and reset my password to get in. Was not giving me a password error, just would not log in. Marlin, in XP IE 6 I had to use the password change email and logon through that, then go to sitemap at bottom of page, then to the Discussion Board. It still showed login at the top of the Board page, but clicking on it changed to log out. IE continues to error and crash on the Board. Strange at the top of IE 6 it still says Powered by Invision Power Board. I deleted the bookmark, cache, and history! FireFox works with ' NO ' problemo.... cd

Will not log in. Just keeps coming back asking for the password. No login error. Glad I normally use Firefox. Can't use it at work though.
Beerman
Even with FF, I'm getting reports of loops when trying to log in. Clearing cache and cookies haven't appeared to help some either. IE7 won't work for me either.

lynn98109
From the last time there was an "improvement", I don't dare logoff. Firefox (which I rarely use) is getting in ok. IE 6 keeps having to close down. From last time - after not using IE 6 on Roxio on this computer, the problem went away after 30 days. However, the other computer, not having any recent cookies, never did have a problem. Lynn
golinux
My cookies are still working fine on all my Linux boxes. Haven't been on XP in a while. Not impressed with the cartoony icons and gradients of the upgrade.

Beerman
Things seem a bit better this morning but I'm sure by 7 pm tonight, we'll all be having trouble again if they can't fix it before then. There is someone with Invision working with John to get this fixed but as of yet, there is no time table given for when they expect things to be back to normal. lynn98109
The fastest way would be to re-define normal. However, I'm having much better luck this morning with IE 6. Lynn

lynn98109
IE 6 seems to work ok everywhere else. I use FireFox only in emergencies ... and Roxio seems to be becoming defined as a long-term emergency Lynn

lynn98109
On two occasions using IE 6, a few hours apart, I clicked on CD's picture of the error message, and when I clicked on the error-message-screen to close it, I got the error message full-size and for real. grandpabruce
Now you'll be telling folks to update to IE 7..... cd Not a chance. That's why it is foolhardy for Roxio to have the forums on a server that only supports IE 7 and Firefox. Anyone who uses IE 6 and has versions of Roxio software, earlier than EMC 9.1, won't be able to use them, if they install IE 7. :angry2:
Guest videoKid
Earlier posts (posts #4 and 5 above) also report problems using IE7. I wonder if the server was fully tested using the IE browser.
