DVD / VCD Burn Hangs at the end

I've used Roxio 10 on my laptop and my desktop (Dimension 1100) to try and burn DVD and VCD and have been unsuccessful with either. It will encode fine, then burn fine, go through 100% of the burn, but have 97% of the overall left and then hang. I'm using DVD+R. Can't figure out why ?

 

Any suggestions?

Try updating your video drivers and DirectX and see if that helps.

Try burning an Image file first and then burning it to DVD using Video Copy & Convert.

Where is the copy and convert? I went to burn image on to dvd and it still gets to the end, showing 100% complete and hangs......it never stops "burning"

 

Is Copy and convert different than Burn Image to a dvd in the copy section of roxio 10?

Yes it is, copy DVD from the Home Screen is 'Video Copy & Convert'! Try Start, all programs, Roxio Easy Media Creator 10, Video Copy & Convert.
