Copying Cd / DVD's to your hard drive

David L OBrien

Question

Hello,

Over the years I had my digital camera home movies transfered by a company to DVD's / CD's. Now I want them copied to my hard drive so I can edit them. I have Roxio Easy Meadia Creator Suite Version 10. Iam asking if someone can provide me with step - by - step instructions on how to do this. Just to let you know I have it installed on a Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Operating System.

Thank You,

David,

A good place to start would be the Users guide and some of the tutorials.

If you still have the original camera (camcorder ?) tapes (don't know what type of camera you had for the originals) and if the camera has an AVI port as well as the computer, grab a firewire cable and then as suggested check the helpfiles or you can download the EMC 10 users manual from the forum (EMC 10 category, under General and at the top of the screen) and transfer the videos directly to your computer.
