I have a DVR that produces an MPEG2 file that, on ocasion, I burn to a DVD. This has always worked fine with Nero under Windows XP. I recently changed to Vista (I know, My Mistake. Notice that I didn't say upgrade) and MC9. I can now no longer get the audio from the MPEG file into MyDVD. The file loads just fine, but there is no audio, even in the preview mode. The audio from the default menu is fine. If I right-click on the file in the storyline and look at the properties, it shows no audio stream. The file plays just fine in Media player, etc. It even works in Roxio's Media Experience. I have no idea why MC chooses to ignore the audio in the file. I have tried for two weeks to get help from Roxio, but the best I got was a reference to a web site that hasen't been updated in three years for "Shelock Codec Detective". Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. I really hate to go back to Nero (it kinda sucks), but I am about ready to do that.
