Robbie38nl
Creator 6 always burned my cd's and dvd's perfectly, on most brands like platinum, nashua but most of all sony, all dvd+r, 8x compatible. Since a few months, i can only burn on sony dvd+r, cd's are all doing well. But now even the sony dvd+r 8x are not working anymore. I checked under extra, how the station is burning and it says 40x (cd)/8x (dvd) in speed and supporting media dvd-r...... when i klick on it, i see all the media, including dvd+r, but it won't change into that media, it stays on dvd-r and i'm afraid that's my burning trouble. Can anyone help me out with this to change dvd-r into dvd+r please? I only burn the dvd's as file, video's and pictures, to view on pc, like 4 to 5 video's on one disk, not 1 video, viewable on all kinds of dvd-players, just files. james_hardin
Simplest thing to try is to go into Device Manager and delete the burner. Reboot the PC and see if responds better. If not, from Creator Classic, run the tests on drive to see what it currently reports.
lynn98109
If you've burned a lot of DVDs, it's possible the DVD burning laser has quit. Check Jim's suggestions first, but you might consider looking at DVD burner availablities & prices. Lynn

The platinum and nashua disc's are JUNK media and should go to the landfill. cd
