I'm in the process of copying an old spoken word audio cassette to CD using CD Spin Doctor (4.0.1) using a Nakamichi tape deck connected via a Griffin iMic to my PowerMac G5 running Mac OS 10.4.11.
I've had set the record quality to DVD Audio (48000 KHz), as CD (44100 KHz) speeds the capture up.
Trouble is, every 4 or 5 minutes the sound becomes garbled. Can anybody suggest what's casing this?
