Can't burn Project

sidebite252

Question

had 9.0 when I received the new computer about a month ago & I upgraded to 10. After putting together my project using Video Wave I can't burn it to DVD. I click on the icon to burn using MyDVD but it locks up every time during the start of the process 0%!!! What a waist of my money & time. I have been to "Ask Roxanne" and done everything it's said to check. Won't burn DVD! AAAHHHHH! Anybody got a suggestion? I've got a Dell XPS with all the bells & whistles. What's up?

A 0% encoding process is not really a "lock up" usually. It is an indication that it is having a problem with your video card/chip. Update your video drivers. This will usually correct that.

Thanks Larry - I went to the NVIDIA web site & found a driver update. I had previously tried to update the driver using VISTA and it obviously didn't work. After downloading and installing the updated driver I was able to burn a DVD. Appreicate the help.

Happy to hear you got it going. Good Luck.

Windows updates are usually only good for updating their stuff. they are always behind when it comes to drivers. When it comes to drivers for your hardware, the maker is the best source for current versions.
