No Sound in VideoWave when outputting to mpeg-2 for dvd playback

pgiella

Question

Hey guys. I am trying to create a video slide show with audio to put on a dvd for playback. I have tried the slideshow assistant as well as videowave. When I select the output file to be for "DVD PLAYBACK" and "MPEG-2 Best Quality" from the dropdown menus, no audio ends up in the created file, even though it is there in the previews. I am running vista and wmp11.

Any ideas?? This is killing me. And tech support has been less than helpful.

Open MyDVD, click on Add New Movie, browse to where you saved your VideoWave file (.dmsm), and bring it in. Just as a test, burn it to an image file (.iso), and use Video Copy and Convert to preview that .iso.

Make a folder, on your hard drive, for saving to an image file. I always make my folders, outside on Documents and Settings.
