Burning kvcd

emjay

Question

I can't figure out how to burn KVCDs using Roxio. I used Nero on my old PC and it was simple. I would open the .cue file and it would launch Nero and burn the movie onto a CDr. I received an error message with Roxio telling me to insert a blank disc even though there was one in the burner already. I searched google and found another method that requires copying an image (to an .ISO file) and then using that to burn the disc, but I couldn't figure out how to get that to work. Roxio only gave me the option to copy from my CD drive and not from my hard drive (as the instructions told me to). Anyone know what to do here?

The following is a reply to your question since no one else has been able to help. This reply is based on some guessing on my part after reading about cue files. Hopefully, someone more knowledgeable will be temped to correct me.

KVCD is a non-standard format so you won't find much information here. According to what I read, that cue file simply is the roadmap for how files are located on a CD. There has to be another file with it (bin file?)

If you have an ISO or a bin/cue file on your computer, use Creator Classic to copy it to your CD.

From what I understand that is an image already.

If you go to The Home app and on the right side hit "Burn Image" you should get a box come up that allows you to select a cue file from a location on your computer whether it be on a disc or on your hard drive.
