oldkahuna
Everytime I use Creator 6, I get this message. Roxio EasyCDCreator has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. And then you have to press the close button. This only happens when I use Creator Classic. Does anyone have an asnswer or a fix for this problem? beckyrindels
I'm getting the same problem with the same program. I am trying to burn a music CD. I am using the test and record method to burn the CD. Also, when this hapens, my CD burner keeps running and won't eject my CD. I then have to restart my computer and when I try to burn a CD, I have no default recorder listed on the bottom of the creator classic screen. I have solved that problem already by going into my drivers and uninstalling my CD burner, restarting my computer, which then recognizes my CD burner and installs it again for me. I have a Dell Dimension 2400 with upgraded memory. Any help would be appreciated.

(1) if you have formatted the disc, remove the disc from the drive and carefully put it someplace else, such as the trashcan. Then take a BLANK blank, directly out of the package or off the spindle. DO NOT FORMAT. (2) if that is not the problem, go to the FREQUENT ANSWERS post pinned to the top of the board, and come back with enough additonal information for us to make an educated guess. (3) unless you have exacatly the same Operating Sytsem, program Version, burners, etc, you it is probasbly you DON'T have the same problem, just the same symptom.
