Converting radio programmes from Windows MCE 2006 Video files

How can I convert radio programmes, recorded on Windows Media Center Video files from UK Freeview Digital Terrestrial (DVB T) broadcasts, so that they can be turned into MP3 files for burning onto CD ? . No content appears to be entering the Remux File when I try to use Video Copy & Convert.

I actually don't know for sure but you might be able to simply extract audio from the file. Open VideoWave, click on View, click on Media Selector, browse to your file right click on it and then select Extract Audio. You should be able to save it to a number of formats.

 

If you find this doesn't work or you're not able to get the audio, next time you might try Easy Audio Capture and the 'What U Hear' function to record the audio while it's playing. This would mean you have to be there to record it but it will work for you as another option depending on your systems audio hardware.
