I'm converting cassette tapes on a Ion Tape 2 PC cassette deck using Easy Media Creator 10 on a computer running Windows XP. I'm able to record the tracks on the computer, tag them and then export the tracks with no problem. I've exported the tracks which are converted to the AAC file extension to the desk top and then imported them into ITunes and I have exported the tracks directly into the ITunes Music Folder all with the same results. The tracks play from the ITunes Library with no problem, but when you select a track from the IPod, they just cycle through one after another without playing and then it goes back to the Music Menu. I have the 2 boxes checked for allowing ITunes to organize and copy music to the proper folders. Since I've experienced this problem I've imported a CD and then synched it with my IPod with no problem. The issued seems to be unique to the music from the cassettes. Research in the Apple Discussion Groups haven't given me any answers. The cassette deck has a USB connection and supposedly you are able to record the tracks from cassettes and they are directly entered into the ITunes Music Folder as an MP3. I would like a little more control over the process but I need some help.
