Plug and Burn always crashes

dodgecrib

Question

I've always seemed to have a problem with plug and burn. It works about half the time. I know I could import the video and then use video wave to burn it but sometimes I just want a back up of the DV tape. Lately it's been starting, then about 5mins in it stops working and I get a "Roxwizard launcher module has stopped working,,, I have to restart the process and I have another DVD-R coaster to my already large collection. I've had very good look with the windows import video and it can also put the video on disc at the same time but this is not as versatile and doent have the menus roxio has. Any ideas.

Thanks, BILL

Bill, capture that video to your hard drive, then bring it into VideoWave for editing. Once you are done, you can output that production, right back to a tape on your video camera. And, you can take the VideoWave production to MyDVD for burning to a DVD. You can't burn in VideoWave.

Also, keep your original miniDV tapes. You never know when you may need them, somewhere down the line.
